Greater Hickory Kennel Club

		Hosts two American Kennel Club licensed shows per year.
		Sponsors Educational Seminars, open to the public, to advance responsible dog ownership, canine health, and information on quality breeding programs. The club also refers specific breed inquiries to reputable dog breeders in the area.
		Monthly Meeting with Programs given by veterinarians and qualified clinicians offer members and guests an understanding of the reduction of disease, genetic defects, injuries and ailments which may affect our dogs.
		Has donated $25,000 to the North Carolina Veterinary School toward scholarships.
		Handling Classes are scheduled during the year to hone the skills of both the novice and more seasoned exhibitor.
		Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of Each Month and we welcome guests. Meetings are informal. We encourage all dog fanciers of any breed to attend!
		Publishes a Monthly Newsletter available to our members with information on events and activites in our area and with in the club.
